Can I specify what agencies I want to work for?
Nope. We’ve got your best interests in mind. The diverse group of agencies participating in COLABORATORY has lots of talented people you’ll learn from.
Can I get college credit?
Sadly, no. COLABORATORY can not be used to get college credit because it is a paid internship.
Do I get paid?
Yes. COLABORATORY interns are paid the standard Oregon minimum wage ($8.40/hour) for a 37.5-hour work week. We’re sure you’re worth much more than that, but then, so is COLABORATORY.
What can I expect from my time in COLABORATORY?
Meet tons of Portland Ad Industry professionals. Get way more experience than you thought could be crammed into 6 weeks. Form great relationships with your agencies and other interns. You’ll be working on projects night and weekends. On the plus side, you’ll love it.
Can I have a hint who the client is?
We will be announcing the client shortly. We think you’ll be pretty excited.

What do I need to bring?
You are required to provide your own laptop to participate in the program. The rest is really up to you.
How will I get around in Portland?
Portland has an amazing public transportation system. 2 of the agencies are outside of downtown proper. They are accessible by bus service, but these agencies have people willing to give you rides. There is a list of options in the ‘Getting Around’ section under About Portland.
